Home tutors for school subjects in Lahore

One-to-one help at home from Class 1 through Matric, O Level and A Level. Tell us the class, the subjects, your area and your budget, and we introduce independent tutors who teach that level. You pick the one your child works best with.

Who this is for

Which situation sounds like yours?

The reason behind a request shapes who we approach. A tutor for a struggling Class 4 reader is a different person from an A Level physics specialist.

What to expect

What a school-subject tutor actually does

Sessions are built around your child's own school work first, so the tutor pulls in the same direction as the classroom.

Classwork and homework, explained again

The tutor works from your child's textbook and copies, closing gaps the class moved past.

Concept repair

Finding the earlier idea that never landed (fractions, tenses, balancing equations) and fixing it properly.

Exam technique

Past papers, marking schemes, timing and how to read a question, from Class 8 onward.

A weekly routine

A fixed slot your child can rely on, with short homework between sessions to keep momentum.

Honest progress notes

A brief message after each week on what was covered, what is improving and what to watch.

What changes at each level

The same request means different things at different ages. Here is how tuition usually looks from primary to A Level, and what to tell us so we approach the right people.

Level What tutors typically help with How sessions usually run
Class 1 to 5 Reading fluency, handwriting, spellings, number facts, homework habits 45 to 60 minutes, three or more days a week, one generalist tutor
Class 6 to 8 Maths and science foundations, English writing, Urdu, study routine About an hour, two to four days a week, one or two tutors
Matric and FSc (Class 9 to 12) Board syllabus coverage, past papers, numericals, English and Urdu essays One hour or more per subject, subject specialists, intensity rising before boards
O Level Cambridge syllabus, past papers by topic, exam technique, coursework where relevant Per-subject slots, often twice a week each, specialists who have taught the paper
A Level Depth in two to four subjects, past papers under timed conditions, university-relevant grades Longer sessions per subject, specialists only, planned across both years

Primary, Class 1 to 5

The goal at this age is confidence and habits, not marks. A good primary tutor reads with the child, fixes the two or three ideas that are causing trouble, and makes homework a calm daily routine. Tell us if the issue is reading, maths, or simply that homework has become a fight.

Middle school, Class 6 to 8

This is where gaps start to compound, especially in maths and science. Tuition here is mostly concept repair and building a study routine before the board or Cambridge years. One tutor can usually cover the core subjects.

Matric and FSc

Board exams reward syllabus coverage and past-paper practice. Tutors who currently teach the same board in a Lahore school know the paper patterns and the marking. Start early in Class 9 rather than in the final term of Class 10; the same applies to FSc.

O Level and A Level

Cambridge tuition is subject-specific and technique-heavy. Ask us for tutors who have taught the exact syllabus, and share the exam session you are targeting. For A Level, plan the two years together so the tutor can pace the content and leave time for timed practice.

Getting the most from a subject tutor

  • Share the school’s material. Textbooks, copies, the last test paper. Tutors work best from what the school is actually doing.
  • Agree the goal in the first week. “Pass the mid-term”, “stop losing marks on numericals”, “read a chapter alone”. Specific goals get met.
  • Keep the slot fixed. Consistency does more than extra hours.
  • Ask for a short weekly note. It keeps everyone honest and makes it easy to adjust.

If your family prefers sessions over video, the same tutors are often available for online tuition. If you are teaching at home full time rather than supplementing school, see homeschooling support instead.

Service request

Which class, which subjects?

Tell us the class or level, the subjects, your area, the schedule that works and your monthly budget.

Please do not enter the child’s full name or exact home address here.

Good to know

Common questions about subject tuition

Do you cover O Level and A Level home tuition in Lahore?

Yes. Cambridge O and A Level requests are common, particularly for maths, physics, chemistry, biology, economics and English. Tell us the exact syllabus codes if you know them, and whether the exam session is May/June or October/November, so we can match a tutor who has taught that paper.

Can one tutor teach several subjects?

For primary and middle years, usually yes. From Matric or O Level onward, one tutor typically covers maths and sciences and another languages and humanities. We will suggest one or two people based on the subjects you list.

Can I ask for a female tutor for my daughter?

Yes. Choose "Female tutor" in the form and we will only approach female tutors for your request. See our page on female home tutors in Lahore for how that works.

Do you arrange tutors for ACCA, CFA or IELTS?

Not as a standard service, but occasionally someone suitable is in the network. Send the request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

How much does subject tuition cost in Lahore?

Fees vary by level, subject, the number of sessions a week and the tutor's experience; A Level sciences generally cost more than primary support. Fees are agreed monthly and directly between you and the tutor. We ask your budget first and only introduce tutors who work within it.

One subject or a full timetable, we start the same way.

Class, subjects, area, schedule and budget. Send them once and we do the searching.
